Yeah getting a new PC will solve your problems bro. I used to run minecraft at around 30 fps with everything on lowest and using optifine. I had 4GB ram (which I still have), AMD Radeon 3000 graphics card (which is worse than a peanut), and a AMD Athlon II X4 645 Processor (which I still have and its alright. still poop though). Now I just bought a new graphics card.. well 4 months ago (Radeon HD 7750 DDR3 1GB) and I am running minecraft at 70+ fps all the time with a 128x128 texture pack. And the graphics card was only €90

Guy's calm down, his computer probably only has 1 GB of RAM if this is happening, im on a school netbook right now that has 1 GB of RAM and it sucks balls, it can barely run the thing it was MEANT to run...

Ermh.. I had a desktop a while ago which only had 512MB.. 2 256 RAM sticks.. It ran Minecraft normally, I could play on servers, yet slower response..

Well.. Of course they would. Most vpses on anything are using Linux. Linux is lightweight, has lots of advantages, cheap, etc. Whilst Microsoft vpses are... Full of shit, no source code available, nothing which you could do appart from the basics of hosting something.

Well.. Personally.. I love Raspberry Pi computer. Its.. Small, fast, does the job! Also not to mention that its cheap as fuck!
