People create language to describe ideas to others. God is simply a word and an idea. The idea of god is the acknowledgement of everything, so everything can exist. Humans who are not subjected to many different cultures, ideas, religions, are going to attempt to create god in their own minds by portraying him with human like qualities.
A globally definition of god should be established this may decrease much conflict between people's ignorance of such topics. Whether god is every aspect of life from the sub atomic partials that make up everything, or if god is simply the fuel for fire, either way it's irrational to try to comprehend and make factual sense of god. There are no Theories of god. However there is much proof of god, that is that we are coexisting in a reality that each of us observes the same to an extent.
If we were to make a virtual reality that is as complex as ours to uphold it's own fundamental logic behind how things are further created then we would consider our self as god right? So that would apply the idea of god being the Fuel to the fire, the 'creator' of reality. But what if we instead considered everything that is created in this virtual reality, and what is further created by the creations of this virtual reality, wouldn't it all 'be' god? Since it is continuous events?
So for us to idealize god as a figure head is simply result of human nature. One day in the future people will no longer pray, but simply think and acknowledge their own thoughts. This is enough, you don't necessarily need the idea of something 'more than you' acknowledging every aspect of your existence.
Religion is a product of sin, subjecting your self to religious practices is a result of ignorance of a culture. People are not gods, we can play god and in the future possible 'be god' but we will never escape our own individual finite reality. It is finite because God has only acknowledged our reality of what it is, we don't magically defy the laws of nature. There is legends of human prophets doing great feats that give them the title of being 'god' or the son of god, but none of this truly helps us. If you are a human, and you have the power to defy the reality, wouldn't you just let your self go from other life and let them continue on the 'non-cheating' path of reality so to say, or would you give them all the same gift?
