New Garry's Mod Update disables clientside lua.

Just did a quick test after update and seems like its impossible to get clientside lua to work like it used to while using blue bypass.

Pretty much as soon as you type the console command the game crashes.

EDIT: Maybe because of this (pulled from changelog) "sv_allowcslua is now saved to the config file"

EDIT2: Seems it was blue bypass that was not working with the new update, use another bypasser and it should be fine.

Clientside lua works just fine...why would the command that's built into the game crash your game on purpose? :/

You probably aren't updated or aren't playing on an updated server. If so, you are trying to use lua_openscript_cl in mp right?

Seems like its not working for me from one hour to the next when the update was released, i might be missing something evident, but i doubt it.

I'm able too use lua_openscript_cl via console, but i can't seem to access any lua files i've put into my directory. I've tried "lua_openscript_cl bluebot.lua" nothing happens as of yet. Apologize for the nubyness, i'm new to using and installing lua-based hacks for gmod.

Question is did it work before?
And are you using a bypasser? If not there's plenty of tutorials on this forum about this very subject.

True, Ive been attempting to use my bypasser to no avail.

Yes, it worked fine before! And no, i have no knowledge of using bypassers, i'm still fairly new, i got it working through a tutorial on youtube involving cheat engine and the lua file itself. I believe the original creator "Blue Kirby" posted a bypasser, but i have no idea how to install and use it.

I still haven't got any real response other than "lol lern to code nub". This thread was created to ask a question, I think you might have trouble differentiating between complaining and questioning.

I'm guessing I am not the only one having this problem with the new update so hopefully ill have a decent answer soon enough.

Its probably your blue bypass, it crashes me anytime I use lua command so I don't use it lol
