i am using CS2, but ifyou mean that the windows looks different that would be because i am usinga windows theme called "Zippo"

its your paintbucket just right click i think? if thats not the problem not sure sorry
yes you right click or maybe double-click it and it gives you the option to change it...anything with a little arrow in the bottom right corner means you can changethe tool to something else
o ok thx man also wen u go to da image ready i cant change the gradient like i mean i acnt move it at all
you should be able to...make sure your current window is maxamized and you have the moveow tool, then shift and click anywhere (with teh gradient layer selected) then drag to the other side (with CS2, you should see a blue box around the object you are moving...e.i: the gradient layer, so when you see that starto move then you know you got it right....
another easy way it so select the move tool, select teh gradient layer then press shift+arrow keys that will move it in a controlled direction for a certain distance each time the arrow is pressed

goddam it where do u get photoshop!!! all ones i found worth a few hundred bucks!!!!
Im using CS3 and when ever i put my gradient on, it covers the text and back ground. how do i fix this? i have blending options set to lighten and both layers grouped.
