virus in engine.exe

i have mcaffe anti virus and it wont let me download engine.exe because of a trojan artemis virus

i turned off anti virus and installed ca but it deleted engine.exe when i started game idk whats wrong and i cant leave my anti irus of cause my parents would kill me

any1 have any ideas of what to do

Make Nexon HQ a-splode... Lol but for most AV there is an option to trust a program/process... If you cant find that then ur screwed... But im guessing that engine.exe is classified as a virus bcuz it scans PC's for Hacks.

TIP: take mcafee disk and eat it. then take the biggest shit of your life.
just press restore and get something else. even something from the ghetto 7/11 is better. with mcafee u mite as well not have any AV at all

just delete ur antivirus and instla NAV(norton antivirus 2009)and it will not delete ur engine.exe.
Edit:what is ur antivirus mcaffe with artemis or mcaffe only because i had mcafee and never delete my engine.exe now i have NAV way better than mcaffe sh.it.

if your parents are ADAMENT about your computer getting viruses and wotn let you switch, turn of heuristics.

thoguh i suggest kaspersky IS

CA is packed with Themida, this causes false positives most of the time, but in this case, Nexon packed it with Themida because they put a Keylogger and Screenshot program in it. If they didn't pack it, every AV would detect their Keylogger and Screenshot programs (which is illegal btw!)

turn off heuristics. i said that. or realtime scanning

Uninstall the whole fucking program.

Take that shitty antivirus off and put a new one on.
