I'm not trying to encourage you to buy a private hook from a paid for menu but it is the better option. If you were to "find" a free one, there is a good chance that it is:
A) already detected
B) Will get you banned faster than a paid-for one
You can try ghosthook, but you are risking your account and it's not my fault if you get banned.
where i can buy this private hook please pm me someone.
dont use ghosthook, its detected

i used to have a menu installed, now can seem to get it to work.
can someone pls enlighten me?
pm for correspondence.
it seems a bit odd to be paying for a hook to be avoiding to pay for shark cards...freeworld huh
Meh. That is just one way to use the hook, really. The hook just allows the mod menus to work. You can do other things with menus besides use it for money, but since R* made this game so money-oriented and a priority, that is why most players use mod menus/cheat engine to make money quickly.
I'm hoping R* are taking note of how much players try to exploit methods to make money quickly as a sign that they need to make money more accessible or get rid of this whole fucking money concept to begin with! #GTAIVSimpleLife
Shark cards are basically GTA:O's way of earning money now. They wont stop that.

The best filename convention :- lose 'hook' in the name (substitute another 4 letter group to replace all 'hook' references) and use a naming convention that's as far departed from any obvious association to a code-inserter/api-link as possible and yet at the same time, looks like it belongs in the general pattern of support files.
It's literally hacker 101 stuff - if you want to put an alien rogue file on a system in stealth, make it look like it belongs there.
So, as an example - that whilst isn't exactly stealth, but looks relative, you could use something with 'matic' to replace 'hook', given there is a SnapMatic image feature in the game. So, quite literally, you could use SnapMatic (or a similar 'Matic') variation, and it could be argued that it's nothing to do with gameplay, but merely a support file used to recover photos sent through SnapMatic from on-system temp files.
That's the kind of logic to think in terms of - 'hook' is easier to associate with in terms of references (seems more logical), but the idea isn't to make it obviously associated with any kind of inserter/code-link function, which any use of 'Hook' tends to be associated with pretty much by default.
