quick question i havent tried it as of yet but how do other people register to my server? im a little confused how this works

NEW PROBLEM kind of a biggie erm
when i run my local.bat it brings up the log in screen when i put in my user and pass the login CMD screen says i have a java error "SEVERE: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cipher not initialized

It says Illegal in there right? You didn't put all of the policies in the right files. remember, 2 polices, in 7 files.

Hey, helper! xD Urmmm i made my own server called PicklesMS.
But Im having some trouble because I tried to get a friend to join it. I uploaded my client, he downloaded it, joined my hamachi network,made my server active and then I COULD get on it but he COULDNT... O.o why is that? Also, when I make an account in MySQL, it worked but when I made another one for the coder, the character just kept walking not doing anything..O.o also how do I make a registration page for the other to join when its not auto reg? Im using SeanRepack 5.8 btw xD

MINI-TUT For Making Your Server Public

Okay guys, if you want other people to be able to join your server, you need to do a few things. If you have hamachi, get the I.P. address and put it in your World Properties where it says "localhost". In your Login and Channel Properties, change the localhost to "LocalHost". Then You have to do some Hex Editing you your client, so it automatically connects people to your LocalHost. Download Hex Editor Neo. Then install and start it up. What you have to do, is go to wherever you stored the localhost client. Then, open it up. You'll see a bunch of crap all over the place. MESS WITH ONE THING, AND YOUR SERVER WON'T WORK. You have to listen very carrefully from here-on-in.
1. Press Ctrl + F, opening the search menu.
2. Type 127.0.0.1 and click Search.
3. You will find it at the bottom right of your screen. Scroll down to see 127.0.0.1 three times.
4. Click on the "1" for the first 127.0.0.1 and start entering you Hamachi I.P., without pressing space at all. Just keep putting in the numbers and dots. When you get to the end of your Hamachi IP, keep pressing the periods on your keyboard untill your cursor is on the next "1". Do this for all 3 "127's" until Your Hamachi IP fills the areas.
5. Go to File>Save As. Chose the name you want your server to be, in your case, PicklesMS.exe. Don't forget the .exe.

Hope this works, there's your Tut for Hex Editing the LocalHost. And btw, send that client to other people so they can play! Enjoy.

om.mysql.jdbc.LocalizedErrorMessages, locale en_GB
anyone got any idies i realy want this to work and im not gonna stop tyring im just a real noob at this , please help

Did you execute all the SQl's needed for the Repack you are using? SeanPack, when I used it, had around 30 I needed to execute. And that's the spirit, don't give up!

The name of the folder where your .bat's are? What is it? Seanpack, or MoograMS, or SineMS?

Wow, an OdinMS Rev. Okay uhh in your folder, are there any SQL files in the folder? If not, I can't really help you out here. This Repack, is a revision of the original, which is extremely old, and I'm not familiar.

I think I found the problem, try turning WampServer on. For some people, you just need it, and I don't know why. Haven't downloaded it yet? Go here and download that. Then, turn on the program. Down in the taskbar, right click it and select refresh. Then left click it and Select "Start all Services". Then try to start your server again.

Okay. Btw, if it doesn't work, check the other .bat's to see if anything popped up in them and post it here too.
