choobs have to earn their respect, for me, right now, i dont see that happening.
if they obey rules, do the right things, i naturally will respect them.
/request close, i see nothing more than rage and spam.
I see what you did there.
I see what you did there.
Distinct is completely right. We are going to be alot nicer to choobs now, they're the future of MPGH.
i know right, we were all choobs once even know im still one
Elective Amnesia, rise against fan Distinct?
On Topic: I remember when I was a choob, a few years ago, people didn't care as much about the post count. I was as free as a bird, so to speak. Then MPGH started to transform, into a flaming forum. Then it slowly started to work it's way to where it is now. Still it's not perfect. I personally think there should be a rule about negative comments. At anybody, not just the choobs. Constructive criticism and negative comments are two entirely different things.
I could say "Your menu doesn't look original, you should try and add some sub-menus" And the topic starter wouldn't mind at all, they may even take it into account and add those sub-menus.
If I were to have said "You stole your menu from *so and so's name here* change it choob" All that will happen is the topic starter will flame back.
It's not whether it looks like somebody elses work, if it's a picture C+P from google images for a weapon mod, if its a choob making their first release based off of another persons base. It's all a learning process, and we should be proud to host their first releases. Who knows, maybe they will eventually learn to make better hacks, mods, etc, maybe even better then yours.
So rather then flaming and calling them a choob, support and give them criticism on how they can make it better the next time.
