I am like 90% sure steam doesn't scan your PC for hacks.
I used to play MW2 on 3 accounts (All legit).
1 got banned because I was hacking like crazy.
The other 2 are still not banned.

the game has changed... it is possible to be banned from a DEMO now... so some noob gets owned by you and he send a demo to steam, you are banned...

so now not only do you have to not hack, you're also not allowed to be better than cry baby noobs.

if you got banned in mw2 you got instantly banned in all other cod's because they use the same gaming engine

for example if you were caught on hacking in css your tf2 would also be banned because both games use same gaming engine

wrong, read steamforums. burtonj confirmed that mw2 bans only affect MW2 and not BO
