I've read that if you change your computers clock/date information to one week ahead then it will grant you 240 gear score items using the ALT+F4 method when you blow up the APC even if you've already done challenging. Can anyone confirm this?

Tried it without alt-F4 and it didn't work at all. Wasted a lot of time. It's only display bug, meaning after changing the date the displays says you will get weekly rewards but actually you won't get it at the end.

Have not tried it with alt-F4 yet though.

The weekly reward timer is reset earlier today anyway so we will all get one piece of 240 soon.

Thanks! Just wanted to clarify; you were in a group and ALT+F4'd after the APC blew up while one group member stayed behind? And this attempt was after you had already received your official, non-glitched, 240GS weekly reward?
