ik this is a beta version of the client but are you able to fix how steam multiplayer works on here because it seems to be disabled

there's a host and play tab and a join the host tab seems to work like normal but the join tab is just a hidden version of join via ip is this just part of the beta or a glitch ?

I do not have the Steam version of Terraria. I have the game through GOG, which is why the Steam functionality is missing. Can you post any screenshots of other issues you're having?

no the only problem I had was the no steam version

and its weird because I pasted it all into my steam version so yea

Alright. I'll try to make a Steam version later this week if I can get my hands on the client from a Steam version. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if anything else happens.

The fakebright option does not show light everywhere like others i've tryed, there are still lots of dark spots. Is it normal ?

Yeah, this is just a test release. I haven't taken the time to implement an actual fullbright feature yet. Fakebright will be replaced by a real fullbright effect in a later release. Please let me know if anything else doesn't work properly. Thanks!

Nice, i'm glad to here it.
An other update of the client; i personnaly don't like the "auto reuse" function to be global.
What i mean is that i don't like the command to apply to all my items, i would preffer to toggle a specific weapon/item than every single one at once.

That's because NPC spawning is handled by the server in multiplayer. Spawning them on the client side does not work, and can not be fixed. Also, noclip is currently bugged. It should work, but currently has broken collision with slopes. Can you show what's wrong?

Auto reuse is not global. It only toggles for the currently selected item in hotbar.

Nevermind, it was a bug of mine, works good.
When will we be blessed with an update ?
I know it's an hard anwser, but can you try ?

PS: An other suggestion, a command to edit prefixes.

Glad you got it resolved. I'm pretty busy and will be away from my home for a few days, so won't be able to put out an update until next week. Also, thanks for the suggestion. Next release will have a //prefix command.

Other suggestions :

- Always fish "quest fish" of the spot you are
- Always fish crates or desired crate
- Call your desired night phase ( bloodmoon, slime rain ... )
- Enemy detection potion effect

Further updates have been postponed. My HDD recently died and all files were unrecoverable. Once I get my programs and system set back up, however, I'll be ready to continue working on the client. I'm very sorry about this. I should have an update ready Friday or possibly sooner.

Just had to reformat and reinstall Windows 10 once again, sorry about that. Anyway, make up a list of what would be most important for the next update, please. I'll try to have it out by Friday.
