Crossfire Tournament



Tournament Type

The first tournament certainly showed that there is a wide variety of skills and locations to which we must tailor our future tournaments to. Because of this diversity, this tournament will be broken down by a choice of three servers, as well as three “specialties” (These will be; “A 3 vs. 3 Ghost Mode” , “3 vs. 3 Search and Destroy”, “1 vs. 1 Team Death Match [TDM]”, “ 1 vs. 1 Sniper Only [TDM]”.)

Each contestant must choose from a variety of three (3) Servers; West Server, UK Server, And Alpha Server. If you do not fit into these categories, Please PM me, As I may be able to set up a separate league if enough people are willing to participate.

Participation

Last tournament, there was a lack of participation, partly due to the construction of the tournament. This tournament is designed to maximize all locations and skill levels.

Because of this, Unless you give a valid statement in this thread of contact me in any manner, I will not allow you into the next tournament, in addition you may face a ban period (Will work on getting it established.)

Requirements

Must be active
Must be willing to participate
Must fall into the categories given


For 3 vs. 3
You must have a group of 3 people, and one back up person.


Post Limit : Must have 100 posts.

Rules

A Spectator must be present in your match to validate it

I will be hand picking several spectators; they will be listed when the tournament begins.

I will make sure to have 10 or more , If one is absolutely unavailable you must save replay or use a recording software.


You may not use any glitching, hacking, or otherwise unintended use of the game map or any exploits present.




3 Vs. 3 Ghost Mode:

When signing up you must present your three members names, and they must give their consent in this thread. You must have a back up person as well.

This will work a bit like the clan matches; You must play once on each side, Both as a ghost and as Global Risk.

At the end the team who wins the most rounds moves on.

Settings:

Any Map
7 Rounds



3 Vs. 3 Search And Destroy:

When signing up you must present your three members names, and they must give their consent in this thread. You must have a back up person as well.

This will work a bit like the clan matches; You must play once as Global Risk, and Once as Black List. Any map is allowed however, the map must be the same throughout the duration of the game (Do not change it once you switch sides!).
At the end the team who wins the most rounds moves on.

Any Map

1 Vs. 1 Team Death Match:

The Match Must Be A Team Death Match, Timed To 8 Minutes. The user With the Most Kills at the End of 8 Minutes, Will Be Claimed the Victor Of that Round, and Be Moved To the Next Tier. Must only go through once.

Settings :
Any Map
8 Minutes Timed


1 Vs. 1 Sniper Only

The Match Must Be A Team Death Match Snipers only, Timed To 8 Minutes. The user With the Most Kills at the End of 8 Minutes, Will Be Claimed the Victor Of that Round, and Be Moved To the Next Tier. Must only go through once.

Settings:

Any Map
Sniper Only
No Melee
8 Minutes Timed

Winner Determination

Each Category Winner For each server, will gain a small GP prize / Banner Prize.

To Be the Server Champion, Each Category winner (4 Categories, Probably 8 People- Including All Team Mates) Will be Put into a Free For All Match, Which I will Personally Spectate.

The Winner Of the Free For All will be named Server Champion, Resulting in a 20-50k ZP Prize Per Server.

There will be several measures taken to combat hackers.

1st - There will be a spectator chosen by me, Or myself if possible which will check both players in each match.

Second - Replay must Be saved at all times, Either by the Spectator or the contestants, Or the match is considered invalid.

Third - Xtrap itself will likely help in preventing hacks, It is currently taking out a large majority of hacks and Z8games is Issuing an abundance of bans.



In addition, If there is a hacker found the following will be done;


Replay will be reported therefore you may loose your Crossfire Account.

Your MPGH account may be subjected to 5 Day Ban , And we will Request a Permanent Ban for hacking the Final Round.


These extreme precautions are here to make the fairest playing environment possible , It's funner that way




In addition a few updates will be added to the Tournament Original Post.


Also; Any suggestions are still highly appreciated.

We just need a few more people per category to begin

Looking forward to more participation, the prizes are plenty, and the server division should clear up a lot. So enter and get your friends to join too, We always have room for more.

Seeing the amount of people we have for the tournament so far, I'd say we're just about ready to begin the Team Death Matches and the Sniper Only matches for each individual server.


We could use a lot more participation in the group areas though, Please sign up, get your friends to sign up, the sooner we have a good audience, the sooner the matches can actually begin! Thank you to all who are currently patiently waiting
