I'm surprised no one has suggested The OA! It is syfy. VERY engaging! For many, it is spiritually and emotionally moving. It has amazing story telling. There are so many things going on below the surface. The fandom is rife with analyses and theories.

This is one of Netflix's true gems. And we have a second season coming at some point, hopefully early 2019.

I can't recommend it highly enough!

I couldn't even get through the first episode of the OA without getting bored, despite several people telling me it's a good show. Altered carbon was quite good and made me go check out the books afterwards, which are pretty different so far. Black mirror is hit or miss sometimes but a lot of the episodes are really really good.
