Ive never heard more truth about windows 8, and TYTrapped
@73scunev "but it's laggy" Did you read the whole post or are you just a stereotyped russian? Also, I don't care I can do it with Windows 8 too, Windows 8 is a gay OS for gay mobile phones.
Security error 2048 aswell. Followed everything OP said to do
Same. I Opened up two Instances and they both worked but my friend tried and nope.
The Server is setup with Hamachi (Because i'm lazy) Not sure is it is with creation of accounts or saving characters

Yea, i tried both hamachi and static-IP with portforwarding. Neither worked. :l
Seems like this tutorial doesnt work.. :/ I'm looking to make my server public :/ Any help?
Alde is Alde is
I am not exactly sure as what is going on, but instead of normal projector use a debugger one, instead of normal Error 2048 You'll obtain a more detailed error saying :
Error 2048: <Insert path of your swf file here> Cannot access data from 127.0.0.1:2050, something along those lines.
The thing I want to note here is that the file in this case your client is trying to access data in your own computer which does not follow cause it has to connec to the remove computer for that, could it mean we have to modify something in the client? Or something in the wserver is not not modified correctly?
This is not a a fix, is just a detail on how this error works when trying to connect to a remote computer.
If you get Security Error #2048 is because either you didn't disable the firewall, or you didn't port-forward the ports, or you didn't change the list.cs file properly (or you didn't compile).
Anyways all of my working code is actually on ****** (see my signature) so you can check it (just fork it and look for differences).
Well, Im 99% sure i did perfectly correct, even went through and checked. I'll take your word for it, as you seem to be one of the 'smarter' people on here. Not sure.
Alright, thanks. And no problem, I don't mind having patience for people that actually have common sense etc.
