Not sure how it works in USA, but here, you either need to have the full name and address or just the address.

So you can order under the name Donald Trump with your address. As long as you have the same address as the package on your ID card, you can pick it up/sign for it

Hey guys, i've recently SE'd an item but under fake name, and sadly it hasn't been sent to me and finished at the post office so i'm wondering how i can go at the office and pick up the pack, and which excuse i can use to explain the fake name, the name is not too different from mine..

recipient name : mark
my name: marco

the surname is the problem the first letter and some of the others match but not so well..
so i was thinking to go at the office and tell them that i've placed the order via phone and the operator was foregin and that they've misunderstood my name..

what do you think guys it could work or i'll have to leave them the pack?

I've picked up a package for my cousin before. It was being delivered by USPS and they said shipper paid a lot to ship it so they couldn't leave it at the door. On the slip there was a section to be signed by my cousin that they can release it to an agent or someone else to pick it up for her. Just sign all the appropriate areas and then go. You don't really need to show your ID from what I remember.



If it looks something like that then fake sign it and go pick it up. Say your friend didn't have time to pick it up so he sent you instead.

You could get a fake ID or something but might not be worth the money unless its a good SE

ouh thats bad. in my country. i always use fake name. and the post office doesnt care LOL

if it's to the right address, show proof of residence. Otherwise, ask the people that live there and say taht you accidentally sent it, even if a bill could come through.
