No it is not, the main assault rifle of the Russian Federation Army is the AK-74, not the AK47, as it is outdated.

The AK47 is commonly use in African nations as it is easy to make and smuggled/bought.

It is called a Taliban weapon.. because the Taliban uses it, simple.

Ok, i'll give you the noob answer:cause nexon fails.

Pro answer: Nexon overpowered the g36e and underpowered the m417, due to the fact that the g36e is a little higher in cost, not to mention its added scope makes it a lot harder to aim, therefore they increased its damage. If they would make it 1 shot kill, it would certainly be a less magnification scope. Catch my drift?

I'm pretty sure M417 is more expensive and has a higher rank requirement + most people need nx to buy M417...
