Ok guys read this:
Technically the program doesn't update. If you download it, you'll notice there are two folders other than program itself. A "New Version" folder and "Current Verion" folder. In the FTP server where you're downloading the REZ files from, there's a txt file called "version.txt"
When the program executes, it will download the version.txt from the server and put it in the "New Version" folder. After it finishes downloading, it checks the version.txt in the "New Version" folder and "Current Version" folder. If the new version is greater than the current version, a message box will pop up informing you that the REZ files have been updated. If the versions are the same, it will simply say that there are no updated files. If your current version is somehow greater then the new version, it will tell you that it is greater and it will downgrade your current version.
I could make one where the program itself updates itself, but that would involve downloading a new EXE at every update. Which would be hard on me too because I would have to make a new one everytime. Plus you guys would be on virus alert lol.
This method is easier and safer
