Ok you might want to mention that video quality limits are based on disk write speeds. And secondly sort out reencoding, because I'm sure this isn't proper 720p quality:

I did say I would recommend using song vegas for editing and saving, VirtualDub is only used for the resizing.

That only happens when you pause the video, I think the quality while playing is pretty good.

It's watchable but far from good. Compare it to some "pro" montages and you'll notice that your vid has been distorted by some compression or something. Ofc youtube itself does it's own, but still. You could add a part about how to properly rencode (and resize) and stuff with some proper tools.

Well I know there're way better videos (quality) out there, but this is just the way i use to make my videos. This is just a simply tut and it's not like 100% "pro" and flawless. I think this is easy and still keeps a decent quality. If you have a better way of doing it feel free to do it your way, but I'm sure this way is helpful to lots of people.

Btw the distortion seems alot less when you view it in like youtube the website, and it's also better if you stretch the video or view in full screen on youtube.

its good! but an easier wayy.. just record in fraps then go to sony vegas(easily cracked) and change to 16:9>render as Wmv 9 i think> and make settings 1080p or 720p looks like gold! like this vid(mine)
