[How to] Use UMP45 in Search and Destroy

NOTE: This is not a gun tutorial, is a weapon tutorial with a game tutorial

Anyways, guys Im here to show you how to use the UMP45. I see lots of people with UMP45 doing all kinds of shit that I cant even describe.

Ok, first we are going to learn about aiming/shooting. The iron sights for UMP45 are the best of any weapon. Is very important you use them for ANY occasion. Since it doesnt really have much of a recoil, its crucial to aim down sights so you can get a nice, accurate and steady kill. Then, the shooting is also important. If you are medium range, i advise to auto shoot. Since the enemy is near, its less likely you won't miss. If its short range, I advise you to prone immediately and spray without aiming down sights. You need to prone because this will confuse the enemy and you will dodge some bullets. And when you are proned, your hipfire accuracy is increased. If its LOOOONG range, i advise crouching or proning, and go single/burst. Keep shooting bursts of 3 bullets, that will cause the enemy to dispair or you will get a kill.


Second, we will learn how to run with the UMP45. Since its a Sub Machine Gun, its not really good to use it long range. Thats why when someone is far away, you shoot them, make them run away and then try rushing to where they were/to another closer place. When running with the UMP45, its IMPORTANT to prone whenever you see an enemy. Even when they are far away, that might save your life from a sniper shot. Also, if you feel that enemies are in a designated space, ALWAYS aim down sights when turning into corners/going into rooms. That will prepare you for any surprises or claymores.


Third, I will suggest some tips:

1) The best attachment for UMP45 in SND is silencer, because it doesnt affect the range and it makes you somewhat stealthy.

2) I would pick the following perks:

Sleight of hand PRO: Since the iron sights are the best sights, sleight of hand PRO would be a good pick because you would use the iron sights a lot, so ADS would be faster

Marathon : Since the UMP45 is a more rushing class then a "defending/sniping" class, Marathon would be good to get behind enemies lines or getting to close range to enemies.


Stopping Power: Since the silencer reduces (for me ^^) the damage, i would pick Stopping power so you can get nice and steady kills

Cold Blooded: You might want to use this if you want to be stealthy like the silencer.

Steady Aim: Since you use the hip-fire skill a lot on close range, this would be a perfect pick for close and medium range kills. This also goes along with Marathon.

Ninja PRO: This is just another stealth Perk if you want to be undetected and rush behind enemy lines without being spotted.


3) I would advise NOT using UMP45 when you are defending. Since you need a little rushing for UMP45, defending with UMP45 would be kind of pointless, but again, if you feel like using it, i dont really care

4) This class is for SEARCH AND DESTROY, any other game type using silencer and one of the perks i suggested would be horrible.

5) Be Stealthy, only shoot when you know that you can get the kill. Even though you have your silencer, people can still track you down.
