Exactly the same, stuck at connecting to iwnet. Hope it's fixed anytime soon, school starts in 1 hour and I want to play before it starts!

My NAT is open, I've fowarded all ports and allowed MW2 access to all ports through my firewall software and router. It just gets stuck at 'Connecting to IWNet..'

Never mind, I didn't allow AlterIW full access to all ports on my firewall software, turns out that I only allowed the Steam version. I'm in now and it works! If your having problems getting into AlterIW, make sure you have done the following:
- Fowarded all required ports
- Allowed AlterIW full access to the internet on your firewall software

EDIT - Well that sucks, no players appearing on the playlists and no IP addresses are appearing in the console.

Added all ports, did everything that guide said, all that shit. Still stuck on Connecting -.-

Maybe Banned? did u use cheats?
