Nothing has happened to my computer, and nothing to my friend's computer, and he's always like freaking scared of viruses (what a pussy. <_<). I do not know if it changes your IP, but let me check.

I just checked and no, it doesn't change your real IP. I went and supposedly "Changed my IP" and then I checked here and my IP is the same. It just changes the visual IP to others.
