The GFX section currently is underrated, with all of us in the GFX section being a laughing stock more than anything else, but there is a way to change that. The GFX section of this forum is currently the 4# biggest section on the MPGH forum, and is currently wasting its potential. I believe it can be the biggest part of this forum, if everyone here tries to work at it, regardless of your graphic skill. Everyone in this section is unique, and can help every designer, not just here in MPGH, but all over the internet. Right now I believe it to be a definite fact that this section of the forum can grow to be the largest on MPGH and have over 20k of guests daily visiting it. How? The answer how is simple... tutorials. Hundreds of people daily are joining the Graphics world, and people doing Graphics for years, still look at tutorials, just so they can develop and broaden their skills, and learn new techniques.
To explain how this can be developed into 20k of guests, I’ll try explaining. Currently I have 3 tutorials posted up onto Good-Tutorials - Newest Tutorials. The 3 of them have generated over 4000 views for the MPGH section already. Now we currently have 167 tutorials in the MPGH database, if they were on good-tutorials too, and we’re carrying out the same guest number count. The GFX section would approximately have had 668,000 views. My tutorials have only roughly been up on Good-tutorials for roughly 3 days, and have generated 4000 views between them, with that view count rising daily. If each of these tutorials views rose by 1000 every month, then if i apply that too MPGH’s database the GFX section would have over 1,169,000 guest views by now at the minimum. Following that, if 1/100 visitors joined, that alone would be an extra 11,690 members that the GFX section would have brought into MPGH.
So my plan would be, all active members who currently have tutorials, go to Good-Tutorials - Newest Tutorials, make a account, and submit your tutorials now.
I would also plan to change the tutorial section, with two simple rules.
• Every tutorial has to be submitted on good-tutorials first.
• You must send me a message with the link of the tutorial, so I can try get it approved swiftly (I am a moderator at Good-tutorials)
