I'm also doing everything correctly, After building i go to the specified folder and there's no Release folder there,
I've got a solution, by default, it should also place a folder on your desktop with the name of the project, if you open that foler and then open the 'Debug' folder your .dll should be there

Great release however this method can be used on Origins, Overwatch, and Breaking Point. You don't need the DayZdb map considering there's not an outside connection being made. Any map works. Origins was easy. The map is called Taviana (Origins Mod). Easy tweak if you have access to the server files. Getting DayZero working is the hard part. My current project

I no longer release things publically let alone to this community. People don't bother to give credit where its due so its much more beneficial to keep it to myself and spread the idea. Not to mention that public releases have been filtered in most mods latest antihack
For Dayzero there are some custom ground vehicles like VW vans and UAZ vans...I'm sure there's more that need to be added I'll do my best to try find their class ID's

It'd be nice to port in the Taviana map, but I'd need to skim through the .dll's code to see where it's storing all of the maps then I can try to just slap it in there and make some quick adjustments to let you be able to pick it on the menu to the right. Also it'd be great if I could get my hands on server/client files for DayZero and Origins to try to find the vehicle classes for the mods and add support to them.
