    This is completely not the case, even if you use a usb drive or create a separate partition from your windows partition you can still get vac banned for having hacks on that usb/partition. Though it is generally much more safe having your hack on a usb stick or secondary partition. This is why a lot of P2C's require you to unpack the hack onto a usb/partition. Hope this helps.

    11. When you are VAC banned you are not just banned from the one game you were hacking on, you are banned from all games that are supported by VAC which are...

    * Team Fortress 2
    * Day of Defeat: Source
    * Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
    * Counter-Strike: Source
    * Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
    * Condition Zero
    * Ricochet
    * Day of Defeat
    * Team Fortress Classic
    * Half-Life: Deathmatch
    * Deathmatch Classic

    That's wrong. You are banned from the games that uses the same engine like Source or HL1

    EDIT: I went to sleep when i clicked this topic, i didnt see it.

That means you will be banned only at Source engine based games. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive have a bit modified source engine, but that modification causes that you won't get banned on this game because of getting banned on Source-based games.

    Correct, and this isn't even the full list of VAC supported games. There are over 300 VAC supported games. Lets say if you were banned from Team Fortress Classic, the ban would also affect Ricochet, Counter-Strike, Condition Zero, Day of Defeat, and Deathmatch Classic. Reason for this is because they are all GoldSrc games.

    It doesn't matter. You can always trade. Only the Items from your banned Game are locked. Not the trade itself.

    Oh I thought he meant that he could still trade things from the VAC banned game, which you cannot. Thanks for your explanation @FavYo

    Even if VAC can't scan external devices, when you run the hack the process is in your system's memory and VAC does scan memory and looks for signatures so therefor not that much of a help.

    VAC will try to connect to your computer
    Well, that sounds like you could block that incoming connection with a firewall rule?
    If that's not the case, maybe change that sentence a bit
    Good Info overall thx.

    Yes, getting banned in CS:GO will affect none of the games listed above on number 11 besides CS:GO itself. The only restriction you face is trading digital goods from the game.

    -_- Trading gifts will not be affected by any vac ban, just the game's digital goods.
