if you check its from staff sergent to master sergent, it also include sergent first class which is between both, and also it's a month or close, to do it most of people, so does 6$ is alot if that save you 1 month ? i don't think so

you should actually calculate your thing's again.

from staff sergent 1 to master sergent 1 = 233000 exp needed
from master sergent 1 to second leut. = 231400 Exp needed

so yes actually staff sergent to master is more exp than master to second leut. and also its 1$ bigger for the following reason : it will allow you to buy any gun from the shop and will save you a month, so you will can play right now with the weapon you want
