Hi. Everytime I inject it crashes for me. Here are the exact steps I take:
Launch Faith Injector
Process: hl2.exe
Dll: x22css.dll (I'm using Cs:S)
I'm at the menu and I press inject, then an error comes up saying:"hl2.exe has stopped working".
Is it because I'm running a non steam version? I really don't know. :/

Yes, probably, you need the steam version.

You need sv_cheats 1 on for that(bypass) and most servers insta kick/ban you for that, not wise to use it.

Yes, this is true. After the game has been updated the cheats have been patched. So the cheats need to be updated to work with the new update.

I totaly recommend you to use in your launch game options:
-insecure

There will be chance you can get get banned if you dont use the command.
