Try to download NetLimiter4 and block the firewall rule rather than using the window firewall itself
In the NetLimiter4 :
-Add new rule
-For deadbydaylight.exe (..\steam\steamapps\common\deadbydaylight\) (make sure you open the game first after installed NetLimiter otherwise the game path will not appear)
-Zone choose internet
-Rule type choose firewall
-Direction choose both
-Firewall action choose deny (when you want to use CE) or allow (When you want to play normally)
-Check Enabled

This will work.

I downloaded that and now every time I start up DBD it says an error has occured and you need to restart the game.... as a matter of fact a few of my Steam games will not start.

Ok the reason i posted my own thread asking how to do this is because 1 I don't know how to start game without EAC and 2 I don't know what CE is. I would like some easier to understand steps. I really want to mess around with this bug in custom game with my friends lol.

No easier steps. The ones you have is already the easiest (+ video for newbies), so either improve your knowledge or leave this idea.

or I suggest you post every exact step from the beginning of how did you bypass EAC maybe we can figure it out why.
