That was for a simple update, not an entirely new bot my friend, the games API changed, its not like a small thing hiccuped but hours would be nice as well.

If Niantic actually did something, they would have banned people, don't you think ?
A "simple" API change isn't that much, and apparently I saw that bots would have to be slower. Meh, I was farming Central Park after not playing in EU for a day.
It was awesome, got 2 levels fast (was 22)

Same here. There are a lot of cheaters in the game, but I never expected them to care. The game doesn't have much of anything going for it, so I wonder what their action with this is supposed to be.

Who knows.
I was browsing their reddit one day and every comment was mentioning how Niantic seems to neglect the opinion of their playerbase and doesn't seem to care about issues inside of their games; they tend to delete the issue rather than fix it. Once I read that I was certain they wouldn't do anything to stop the botting but maybe this game's bots drew a little more attention with it being such a popular (almost competitive) game.

Edit: Looks like I was wrong. The owners of Necro Bot seems to claim that this is a huge change, and it could take upwards of 48 hours.

Ar1i posted a small change in the API on their bot, but it didn't have any effect on the bot still being broke so I figure its going to be a few days before we see any real progress or new bots released.
