No but it's recommended to shut it down, it makes it a very little bit faster, disabling something you don't even use, so I always have it disabled :P

Plus I scare shitless with my headphones on, sound maxed for some reason and I click or a download finishes.

Ulually I use beeps in debugging, To see if it succeded or nor to write / read / gethandle, Etc. But I comment them after, As they are not funny for the ears if the user do something wrong.

use it until a new patch comes out then immediately stop using it until update. i've been using the normal esp.dll hack with winject, plain and simple, you'd most likely get banned for using a VAC dis-abler because, vac would rather banner someone that is blocking the whole program that they made to stop cheaters rather than a esp guy that is less of a problem to them. thats my theory.

Yeah I don't know that lol, the .tmp is in the Temp Folder, but with Vac Chaos it removes it from there and puts it wherever Vac Chaos is. Im sure Steam can let VAC search for the .tmp in your Desktop too, but if you make your own folder somewhere deep , folder within a folder, name it whatever you want, Steam can't make VAC Find that, or it makes a search engine to search for the .tmp file, and make it run like it's in the default Temp folder.

This is too complex for you, And you have to search if the VAC module is loaded, Not for the dump tmp file.
