I found an error in your Main Post. You said "2. Disable Updates (open iw4mp.cfg and set "enable_updates 1")" when the 1 should be a zero.

can you patch the steam_api.dll so we can use any iw4mp.dat?(game executable). its useful if i want to run a modified version of the game executable that has certain things patched (autoexec.cfg enabled)
