Microsoft offers this program for free.
All they want from you is an email and for you to sign up at their website.
here is the tut for downloading and installing it.
Microsoft visual c++ express 2010 download:
Microsoft Express Downloads - Visual Studio Express and SQL Server Express
1)download and install the product. (when downloading select c++ and the language you want it in)

2)Once downloaded, open up the program and go to help and select "Register Product"

3)Click the "Register online" link and it will take you here (sort of the picture/looks similar)

4)sign up for it, and at the end they will give you a code.
7) insert the code into "Register product" and you have successful install Mircosoft visual c++ express 2010.
Press thanks, and start coding a hack for the crossfire section.

Microsoft has been offering that program and ALL the express programs for free for QUITE some time now...
