I've been looking for some of these books, but most places that offered the pdf of these were pretty shady, and if i use bit torrent again my ISP will probably throttle me to death. Thanks.

I'd recommend using one of these books alongside the MIT course. MIT goes a lot further in detail but it's not the greatest if you don't know how to cout and cin and basic things like that.
