Key Generating - a general guide

i have no idea so far all the steps have worked but i get stuck on opening DKC :/

Edit : i could just find a tutorial on youtube or someting, but if you can explain it fast and easy that would be nice

OK, press the windows key + r. This will bring up a window called 'Run'. Type 'regedit' into it.

Once on regedit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA. It's like normal folders, only in the registry. Then, could you post a screenshot of everything inside the 'folder', making SURE to black out or censor the area that I do here:

Rather than posting as an attachment, could you upload it to a site like Tinypic, then post the link? You would do it like:

Otherwise I have to wait for the attachment to be approved etc.

Could you post the ArmA 2 OA folder, the one above, rather than the expansions folder? That's where the problem might be. Thanks.

Are you running a 32-bit operating system? If not, then I have some bad news...

im fairly sure this is 32-bit since i tried to download winrar 64 and i got error saying this was 32 so

OK, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Bohemia Interactive Studio/ArmA 2 OA, can you post that? Sorry for all the trouble, but the key is stored in different places in 32 and 64-bit versions.

You know you dont have to search through all the keys to find the valid one. Just change the Report Type to Valid Keys and Save Report.

Hey i have it all set, but i can't click 'Check' only the single check 'Check' how long does this usually take?
