...went to LSC and came out and nothing changed...

I think liljojogotit meant that the custom plate does not stick permanently after you go into the Los Santos Customs shop and then leave out.

cant change it! Pressed anything that is similar to + and = and typed, but nothing changed

Strange, it works for me permanently. It will probably reset if you change your plate color on los santos customs

Works great, except that it interferes with the game's controls when you start typing...

thank you so much for this! got 25 plates changed through iFruit app (painful) but could not get my insurgent plates changed no matter what I did, but this did it!

Also, for people with problems with the plate saving - drive car outside garage - change plate - drive back inside garage. It will save the plate perm this way.
