LTB files are models, they are what the texture goes onto, it is basically the gun without any colors or details. Dtx files are the details and the "pretty" parts that you get to see. That being said, you edit the dtx files in photoshop and you edit the lta files in model edit, the lta can be obtained by converting the ltb to an lta. It can then be edited for rapid fire, iron sights and multiple other things. If you choose to edit the dtx file, you need the correct plugins for photoshop and some skill. I hope this helped.

sure this help me much ^^ now i understand many thinks just a last question, how edit a DTX file, need to convert some file to DTX but when i use DTX convert to pass LTB to DTX nothing happen i want edit that "pretty" parts of gun ^^ thats all wand to do

please help, i added the DTX extension to my Photoshop CS5 and it won't read it. Yes i extracted, and converted the DTX file. Also yes i did locate the plug in .dlls and other file in the right place (im pretty sure) add me on msn to help me if you don't want to help me through this post. I am running windows 64-bit btw with 64-bit ps cs5
