It depends a lot on what you gonna use it. AMD has lots of threads and cores which makes them really good for workstations, for gaming... Umm... you won't notice much difference if you don't play anything demanding really... At the end of the day if its for very casual use and nothing too demanding you can go with what you are more comfortable with, in this case Intel.
From my experience, AMD works best for productivity and Intel for gaming.
hmmm.... I would recommend going for intel I mean for quite some games they actually run awesome and mainly for desktop use but the downfall for it is that its expensive, amd on the other hand is powerful and like a low budget cpu I would recommend going for a ryzen 5 3600x its 3.7ghz and turbo4.4 ghz I would highly recommend it as I've had experience with many cpus and r5 3600x is pretty much the best for all games bt when it comes to desktop it does preform a little lower but the positive its cheap like a really good price the 3600x risen 5 retails around 150 and its normally 400 so hurry up why wait buy it.
like if I helped you out but only if I helped you.lol![]()
For strictly gaming, Intel is better due to higher clock speeds. Having said that, Ryzen does offer a good value especially when you consider price.
At the moment i'm on Intel but after seeing them manipulating benchmarks and AMD going stronger and stronger with cheaper prices, i'd go with AMD.
I am all about value for money and getting the best PC within your budget, this being the case AMD is by far the more budget friendly company.
well lately ryzen have been doing some amazing jobs, especially with the ryzen lineup, and so currently i choose AMD
At this point man, amd just offers so much more performance for the price so amd all the way
AMD is cheaper, but there is something with Intel that makes you want to stay with them.
intel for gaming ofc
amd for work
I think the landscape has changed, the latest Ryzen CPU's are amazing value and performance. I can't post links but if you look on TPU, Guru3D, etc, and read a review of the latest CPU's you'll see the performance is literally the same!
If you don't know much about AMD, i'd recommend just going for intel. But AMD does have really good prices so do your research
