I'm happy to announce that I've incorporated checking into the console version of the cracker located at:
https://******.com/Manevolent/EggCrack
For those of you interested, you can download the latest release on the home page, and the files (Jars, etc.) end-users will be looking for is under the "release" folder.
The GUI version is still in the coding twilight zone; I'm not sure that cracking even works through the GUI yet. However, you can perform any cracking or checking with the -console flag.
Here is an example of a cracking session:
And, suppose we wanted to check those right after:Code:java -jar EggCrack.jar -usernames usernames.txt -passwords passwords.txt -proxies proxies.txt -outputFile output.txt
Code:java -jar EggCrack.jar -check output.txt -outputFile definitelyWorking.txt
This may seem cumbersome for most of you who use the cracker/checker regularly and were disappointed to see it (somewhat) broken for the last year or so, but from my end this is a very important step. The GUI is simply a means of tying together event handlers and so forth to make the cracker look the same but perform better on a different back-end designed to handle the changes Mojang has applied to the Minecraft authentication servers.
I'm also being told that normal scraped proxies do not work any longer; you need to use Elite proxies instead. My first guess is that any host with a X_FORWARDED_FOR header is being blocked, or something along those lines. EggCrack's checker does not filter your proxies down to elite proxies to the level of scrutiny the recent changes require. You will need to use a proxy checker to verify your proxies before loading your proxies into EggCrack now.
At this point I'd like to add that I consider MPGH's version of the cracker, 1.8, as obsolete. To be specific, this means I do not guarantee this version will work, and I can't provide anyone with detailed help anymore as I have in the past. In contrast, I am willing to provide support on the ****** page and will fix any issues that are reported there that are specific to that version (2.0).
This is because, with the added checker, the ****** version now supports all of the basic features this version offers. I do not feel responsible for supporting an older version of the code which at this point has less to offer.

I added one unmigrated username and one wrong password, and some proxies. Why does EggCrack keep trying when its the wrong password?
Nevermind, new version fixed it.

Not sure about your attempt rate, but I did discover why the GUI wasn't launching. I've gotten the cracker itself partly functioning, but I don't feel it's ready to be committed yet. I should have a working release with the GUI and checker running before next weekend.

To my surprise I cannot edit my last post. So here's a bump/update:
- The cracker and checker are both working at this point.
- The GUI listeners have been tied together, and everything seems to be running smoothly.
And, a list of all of the things changed or added since 1.8:
- Cracker threads no longer synchronize to UI changes (labels, progress bars, etc). This increased speed of the individual thread attempt/sec. Instead, UI updates are now scheduled as tasks to be executed on the main thread sequentially, mitigating the risk for complete hangups.
- Some of you watched your TPS hit 1 or 0 and you had no idea why: proxies are now observed for potential rate-limiting from Mojang servers. Proxies that receive these rate-limiting errors are disabled for 20 seconds, leaving the threads with only a list of working proxies at that moment. A label has been added to the details window which shows a real-time count of how many proxies in your list are working.
- The proxy checker has been re-implemented, but it still does not have support for anonymous proxy checking or saving -- these are not features EggCrack was designed for and I don't plan on turning the program into one. You should instead use other software to do this.
- A plugin system was added that allows EggCrack to use more than one service now. This could mean Netflix, Steam, etc., as long as someone develops a plugin for it. I'll probably make a few so people can catch on. Sentry MBA remains king in this regard though, without the need for plugins.
For those of you wondering, the GUI is merely a wrapper around the code the console version uses. If you want even more features, I suggest you check out the console parameters.
A release build should be available on ****** by Friday, October 9th. I will set the build number to #3 as well, and for those of you using older versions, you should receive a message to update next time you run the current version of ******'s EggCrack.
At the time the build has been pushed to ******, I will be creating a new thread with a link to the project in this forum. I still don't know if I'm allowed to link off-site for software though, and if I can't I'm probably not going to waste my time with a new thread. Anyways, I'll get in touch with Gio this week and we'll figure something out.

Have you really pushed build 3 to the repo? Downloaded it and it says build #2.
It's partially complete. Right now I've left it at build 2, but for those of us who need the changed code right away I've kept the repository up-to-date. I'm a bit behind schedule, but I've got a lot of stuff to add today. Hopefully the final build will be completed this evening.
EDIT: Build #3 is live and seems to be working properly.

Can you post a link here
Will it ever be as fast as it used to be? Or would it just require a ton of proxies?
I need usernames and passwords![]()
Hey! None of the proxies I try seem to be very efficient, does anyone have a list of proxies they can recommend? Or any specific ones?
