There might been some people that have done some shit stuff for the members and maybe the staff/admin.
And they was in risk for something.
So they made it a rule to prevent hackers to get like an special member/staff account info and mess up bad.
Also would be like, if people downloaded hacks with auto-updater's and they got some damage/got in danger.
The would mostly like blame MPGH and leave.

True, they should do a rule where only people who are "Members" and above and who have good trust to have auto updaters. It would save a lot of mods approving files Originally Posted by Jorndel

Afraid not, not even staff is allowed auto-updaters, the danger is too much compared to the benefits.
