Yes?
No?
I'm a fucking moron.
I speel liek a dooche.
=\ Timebeast I was going to ask you something, because you seem to know alot about grammer, and language. Why is English considered the hardest language, but French considered easy to learn?
There are two types of tragedies in life. One is not getting what you want, the other is getting it.
If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?
english is the hardest language because
1. there are a shitload more rules, it's a more advanced language than most
2. those rules are always broken
uhh there are more reasons but i forgot them. there's also the issue of grammar and stuff. next time you're writing something intelligent (homework or something), think about your thoughts. "no, that doesn't sound right", etc. that doesn't happen with other languages as much, english is really fucked up
Just because YOU can't understand it doesn't mean it's bullshit.
It just means you actually need to stop going on this forum, limit your programming, and start fucking learning.
Edit: And French is widely considered the hardest language to spell.

Ching-Chong nigga Tom had to learn english at age of 5
Ok, well that made no sense. Yes, English is the hardest language in the world to learn because of all of our punctuation and tenses. And also because our language is like no other modern language today, most of English is derived from Latin, which I don't think many people use anymore. The tenses in the English language are pretty much like tenses in any other language only there is very strict spelling and use of grammar involved, in present, past, past perfect, future, and future perfect.
French is easy to learn if you know Spanish or Italian beforehand. All three languages are very similar, although I don't speak much Spanish and any Italian, therefore I can't compare the three. Honestly, if you REALLY need help with grammar in French, go buy a book called "Bescherelle" I got one when I was 10 to help me in my immersion classes, still have it. Has about 12,000 verbs and their conjugations in French. Tenses in French are the same as in English, only I believe there are more. The ones I can think of off hand are Présent, Passé, Passé Composé, Imparfait, Futur, Futur Simple, Perfect, Plus que Perfect, Passé Simple etc. And now my hand hurts...
@ the imperatif.
That's like one of five I know =/.
Latin is beastly ownage
I gots me an A in Latin 1 =D
but mainly, English is easy for Americans because at the toddler age, kids can hear their parents speak it
and so their vocals develop and their brains memorize and what not
its complicated but thats why you always have a 1st language
oooo -.-

That was a post by Lory777. This is a prime example and backs up why i voted yes. First, it was the same post in 2 sub topics. Second, these are obvious but I'll point them out for you other stupid people to learn from mistakes, he can't speak English, ties it in poorly with what i think to look like a little bit of French, not complete sure. So overall, if you are going to be in these forums SPEAK ENGLISH FOR FUCK'S SAKE, WE DON'T KNOW YOUR LANGUAGE SO LEARN OURS!
