Comparing me to Austin or Toxin is ridiculous. It's true that a lot of rep was shared between staff back when Toxin was active, but I'm pretty sure if you check how much rep I ever returned and how much Austin/Toxin/Drake and a whole lot of others did, you'll see a huge difference. Furthermore a lot of my rep comes from genuine help, as do my thanks, unlike the shitloads others accumulate by just being in popular threads / sections

Ban evasion (06-15-2012)
Oh damn don't let me get into this; back when I was G-mod I kept watching so many higher-ups trading reps between each other. Austin being one of the main little shits. I felt so damn irritated by it and tried to keep professionalism but of course cracked and ended up banning all the rep4reppers that weren't staff and the backup accounts (mostly Austins). 90% of them being in denial., but of course the logs didn't lie.
edit: if only i can find all the complaints, most of them being staff /fp

@Scata
I never did this, so I can easily call you out on it without being hypocrite (not that I give a fuck about being one)

I traded rep when I was hovering around 300. I'll admit that. It was like a cosmetic thing at the time (no one knew the figures, just the amount of green bars). But the last 800 points or so came from random people, or rep backs from when I rep posts either in agreement of a post or because I'm appreciating the content of a post.
I think most rep is traded in the sense that users feel obliged to rep back as a matter of thanks for being repped. It may not be the intent initially but it's often the case.
