Looking for advice for reversing ROTMG.

Hi, I'm stuck in trying to reverse ROTMG and am looking for advice.

So far, I've focused my efforts on trying to reverse the decryption function for global-metadata.dat with the goal of obtaining a decrypted copy for use with iL2CppDumper. I've made some progress in understanding how the metadata file's contents are read and decrypted, but can't figure out how any of it is used by il2cpp because of how little it resembles (to me) a normal il2cpp loader.

I'm fairly new to game hacking and would really appreciate any advice as to wtf I should be doing or thinking about.

I have a working MelonLoader .zip too but sadly it is 125mb and MPGH does not support that file size. It is also too big for virus scans.

Done. I now have a script to decrypt the metadata file and a working MelonLoader, so I can start reversing the game and writing mods.
