Maxing service prices

Why are the prices for the maxing service so low? Do the RWT-Stores also lower their prices? I am a little bit confused.
Are there still many people who scam on PayPal?

They are low because "Maxing" does not have much demand right now, Most people would rather buy items and max themselves

How are they considered "low"?

They're overpriced, IMO, because buying pure life and transferring it to stat pots is better.

Here's my reasoning:

Let's say a 6/8 maxing service is... 15 dollars.

Life potions are 40 cents.

You can buy ~37 life with that much money.

Now, to convert life into stats...

Example class: Wizard. It's the most expensive class in the game to max.

Here's the averages at level 20:

Att: 40/75
Def: 0/25
Spd: 29/50
Dex: 43/75
Vit: 21/40
Wis: 31/60

Assuming that Attack was 1:7 for life (which it currently is), that would be 5 life.
Assuming that Def was 1:7 for life (which is actually low), that would be 4 life, with 3 def left over.
Assuming that Spd was 1:2 for def (which it currently is), that would be 1 life (and the 3 def left over from before).
Assuming that Dex was 1:2 for def (which is actually low), that would be 2 life.
Assuming that Vit was 1:2 for def (which it is), that would be 2 life, with 13 vit left over
Assuming that Wis was 1:2 for def (which it is), that would be 1 life (assuming you convert the vit to wis 1:1)

Now... Your grand total cost for 6/8ing yourself... 15 life.

15 life costs 6 bucks. So, you save yourself roughly 10 dollars, at the cost of 2-4 hours of merching.

Maxing prices have actually continually lowered from, say 6 months ago. Thought really it fluctuates. I remember $15-16 being really cheap a few months back. Now it's the norm, while pricings like $12-$14 are considered really cheap.
