Alright it is not yet done, but I am willing to release a pre-alpha version in order to test it out and analyze feedbacks. This is a project which consists in a activision's master server emulator (for Quake3) and a slightly-modified client. Now you would be able to host your dedicated server everywhere (with proper internet connection of course) and simulate the master server's activity.
But as mentioned above this is just a test, which means that once done the project will merge and a new master server will be hosted in order to re-create the old COD community. What I mean with these is that you would be able to play for free on MP and connect to "cracked" servers directly from your in-game browser.
At this point the current primary bug is that the client doesn't properly parse the server's port which results in game servers not appearing in the browser.
However you can still use this and connect to servers through the old "connect xxxx" command in the game's console. Have fun?
