I've noticed how there is no specific section for this game on MPGH, and I really think it deserves one.
One for the attention it deserves, and two; we all like hax.




The game itself is called DeadZ. It is a free standalone version of DayZ. The only difference is that this game is free, but also in beta, so it doesn't have any vehicles yet. I found out about the game when I made a thread asking for F2P survival games a few weeks ago.
I can assure you that it is worth your effort and time.
There have been rumors that this game contains a virus, but I can assure you that this is not true.

So what exactly is the game about?

The game is plain and simple: You have to survive against bandits and zombies, but you have to maintain your body's desires meanwhile aswell(hunger and thirst). Use a huge selection of weapons to your own advantage(such as melee weapons(hatchets, battons, and many more), secondary weapons(pistols), submachine weapons and primary weapons.
They have been in OB since April 28, 2013 and currently have 100,000+ registered in-game accounts counted on May/22/2013. There are also 800+ users always in-game 24/7. They have a clan function coming out this month aswell.
You can use voip chat or regular in-game chat. Zombies are not overpowered or superior compared to players, and they also show realistic attributes. If you crawl next to them without making any noise, they won't notice you, if you run around like a freak at a certain distance, they will notice you. They can also hear the noise you make inside buildings while they are not in buildings themselves.
You can use devices like Night Vision goggles, flashlights, flares, chemical lights, and so on. You'll have to find some water and food very regularly to keep your body moving. Time goes from day to night as you play, and you gain experience which you can spend in the store after having entered a safezone. Safezones allow you to log out of your character so that you can share your items with your other characters and protect you from gunfire. You can play in either third person view, or first person view. Zooming in with your weapons is also possible(using sights, not just zooming in).


Remember, the game is still in beta, so it still has some bugs here and there. Hackers are minimal compared to other free games(I saw two wallers in over 40 hours of true gameplay).

Download the 3,95 GB download link from megaupload to get the full game. Megaupload usually downloads extremely fast. From here, you will have to update for an other hour.
It is deffinately worth the time.



Once you've did that, log in with your main site account(not forum account), start the game, create a character, and join a server!
After logging in to one server, you can change between servers without losing your current character location or items.

It is actually exactly the same, but it is free. There are way less hackers, and the loot is not as easy to be found as in WarZ.
It also has open buildings, which WarZ has only a few limited of 'em. This game is deffinately worth it, trust me.

You can't gain overpowered items by paying or whatsoever. Whenever you pay, you pay for a certain amount of money in-game(which you can also obtain easily by playing)and you get a donator status, which gives you nothing but a different name color. The devs work actively, and update regularly(they updated twice in june).

This game looks EXACTLY like The last stand Union City. They should have called it the Last Stand or something equal, and find a deal with the last stand devs. Would of been so much better, but meh.

uhmm this is a private server based off of WarZ theres a twitch.tv streamer who did the map design his name is unityviet so thats why there is open buildings and such this is not a standalone of DayZ

This isn't DayZ standalone. WarZ was hacked and the files were grabbed and leeched. DeadZ is just a hacked version of WarZ.
