Sin is the act of going against god
God punishes sinners by murdering them and torturing forever after they die.
The only way to atone for sin is to:
A) Use blood sacrifice
B) Believe in Jesus(which makes no sense).



So in conclusion.

1. There is no real free-will according to the bible. You go against god and you will be murdered and tortured forever.
2. This applies to everyone. Meaning if you live in the middle of nowhere and can't possibly know about the bible, you can and will be punished.
3. God makes unrealistic demands and over-punishes.

Many churches and believers say that sin is a by-product of free will. There's also no sinning in heaven, so there can't be free will in heaven. So.. that should be fun XD

All churches accept the belief of "born sinners"(I talked about this in 2-3.)

Therefore sin being a byproduct of free-will is invalid. The only free-will scenario that ever existed according to the church was Adam and Eve, and clearly they were not informed.

Baptizing is pretty symbolic in nature. Though there are sects that believe once you are baptized that's it, I don't think the actual act of baptizing is the key.
