Question About Iphone Refund / IMEI etc...

I'm here because I need your help,

I'm going to ask someone about an apple refund, Iphone 7+ Refund to be clear,

BUt i'm scared as f*** about the IMEI block legend ...

In which cases, the phone could be block and useless then ?

Does it already happened to someone ?

not directly from apple store, so .. I don't know if they're going to declare it stolen

Well, If you're getting the money back for it anyway why does it matter that much if it gets blocked?

If it does you can still sell it for parts etc, so either way you won't be losing anything

Buy the exact make and model phone with cash in a store. Once you have the phone you're going to refund switch it with the store bought phone.

Take the refunded phone back to the store and ask for a refund (Obviously first check refund policy) Spin some BS about how you bought it as a present for your Son/Daughter/Mum ect but you've found out the my just got one.

I highly doubt the cashier will check the IMEI when issuing refund. Payment in cash means no trail, if the phone does get blocked or they realise its different IMEI.

They do not block the IMEI. Every apple product comes with a product UPC, as well as an individual serial number that is linked to that device. Phones also come with the IMEI. None of that information is compromised at any point after a refund.

I'm going to do it today, order my Iphone 7 plus on this Site and wait for the refund, hope it's going to work and don't get block but apparently i'll be ok with that

When I'll want to change in a few months for example the new Iphone at the end of the year, I'll can't go into my mobile operator to get back the Iphone 7 plus I guess right ? I'll give them the Iphone 6S and sell by my side the Iphone 7 plus ?

When you check your bank account / credit card online and it shows +(insert iPhone cost) your good to go
