    Does it take advantage of 64-bit cpu or multi-core cpu? Can programs be 64-bit (ie. take advantage of more than 4 gigs of ram)?

    Any advantages to using it? (other than it doesn't require .net framework: and can run on windows versions < vista)

    I'm not saying it's worthless, but if you have the option, why wouldn't you WANT to use vb.net instead? By any 'programming language standard', vb.net is better than vb: data-type enforcement, encapsulation, classes, exceptions, events just to name a few.


    Muzzle-loaders are still popular, but definitely not better than a semi-auto rifle..
