Don't know if you're trying to diss my favorite band or not, but Slipknot isn't indie or any of those, although they are bad ass.

Shiny Toy Guns - "Major Tom" they did a better version of it if you ask me.

Aphex Twin - Anything he makes pretty much, although it's not psychedelic, some of his stuff is great for like raving and such.

Chester French - Again, anything they make, great band, saw them live at the Blink 182 reunion concert in Marysville, CA.
