    IDA Pro Freeware Plugins...

    DONT WORK. How do I know this?

    So my plugin IDAStealth was not working for my IDA Pro Freeware v.4.9

    I emailed Jan Newger, and luckily he replied back!

    ...Only to tell me that Freeware version doesn't support plugin SDK

    This leaves me with only three choices: download IDA Pro(illegally), buy it (over $539), or try to compile my own version of IDAStealth with an unofficial Freeware Plugin SDK he mentioned (seems a bit hard, and not sure it will work).

    Now I've never "downloaded" anything before. It always seemed I could avoid it, but now I'm in a predicament where even though there is a workaround, that work around seems much more difficult. Well Ima try to look around for the Freeware SDK, and so on, but if I can't find it or get it to work, I will have to go to the darkside... but maybe I can pay them back one day. Like write them an I.O.U. =/
