Fishing Bot Wont work

I've downloaded and tried a few different fishing bots from this website, but i dont think i can get them to work, whenever I caught a fish in-game the bot wouldnt do anything, the lure would go to waste, and it hasnt caught a fish yet. Can someone help me fix this please, I have been using 7's Fishbot

I've been running into a similar problem. I've been trying out multiple bots over the span of the last few hours, but they don't reel in the fish.
So I guess it's a problem with the pointers.
I've tried updating them (rewriting the .ini file with the new pointers) / downloading updated bots, I double checked the pointers but they seem to still miss the bouncing swimmer thingy.

There are only so few "updated" pointers out there (after 8/25/2015 Patch), I've tried them all and I seem to not be able to make any of them work.
Am I doing something wrong? They throw out their bates all the time but none reel in in time.

Are there "common mistakes" someone can point me to? Thanks in advance.

update pointers is the issue. You can also install the patched trove.exe which most use. Helps by disabling the anticheat.

Tried installing the alternate trove launcher (mpgh,net/forum/showthread.php?t=1015759), and ran into a different issue alltogether, wich I already posted there.
This bot thing seems to be way more complicated than I initially thought haha.
We will see how well this one turns out.

just update the water/lava/choco pointers, you must do it after every patch
